Micro K’NEX connectors join Micro rods to create flat and three-dimensional structures. Although the best-known connectors have traditional colors, Micro K’NEX connectors were produced in many additional colors for later sets and series.

This overview includes confirmed standard connectors, documented color variants, early Micro variants, and a small number of special connectors. Where a part is known to exist but its official part number has not yet been verified, this is stated rather than leaving the part out.

The Corner / Angle connector is a distinct Micro K’NEX connector and should not be confused with the standard 2-way connector. The part is confirmed, but its official part number has not yet been verified.

3-Way Connector with 6 mm Hole

The 6 mm center hole gives this Micro connector an additional connection with Classic K’NEX. It is therefore also included with K’NEX Adapters, Transition & Dual-System Parts.

4-Way Connectors

8-Way Connectors with 6 mm Hole

Part numberColorNotes

517201White6 mm center hole; dual-system connector

These are genuine Micro K’NEX 8-way connectors with a larger 6 mm (¼”) center hole that can accept a Classic K’NEX rod. Because they connect the two systems, they are also included with K’NEX Adapters, Transition & Dual-System Parts.

Clip with Hole End

The Micro K’NEX Clip with Hole End sits between the connector and clip families. Its primary name is retained here, but its hole also provides a useful connection point. For that reason it is included on this page as well as with Micro K’NEX Clips.

Architecture Color Variants

K’NEX Architecture is a series, not a separate K’NEX system. Connectors produced in White, Bronze, Tan, Red, Gray and other colors for Architecture sets are therefore included in the normal Micro connector tables above.

Important Architecture sets used to verify these variants include:

  • 15237 — London Eye
  • 15238 — Eiffel Tower
  • 15240 — Golden Gate Bridge
  • 15259 — Empire State Building

The color of a connector should therefore not be used by itself to determine its type or system.

Early Micro K’NEX and Vertical Vengeance

Vertical Vengeance (50080) used an early generation of Micro K’NEX parts. Several connector numbers and colors from this set differ from the later standard range. These early variants are included in the tables above so that they remain searchable and identifiable.

Vertical Vengeance also used an early rod-size range and other unusual parts. Because these differences affect more than just connectors, the complete early parts system will be documented separately on the Vertical Vengeance page. The evidence currently supports treating these connector variants as early Micro parts, but does not yet justify claiming that the connectors themselves have different physical dimensions from later Micro connectors.

Some early part numbers contain a V suffix. The suffix is retained exactly as documented, but its official meaning has not yet been verified.

Titanfall Connector

Titanfall set 69505 contains a separate White 2-way Corner / Angle connector. Its physical form is distinct from the normal 2-way connector.

The connector is included in this overview even though its official individual part number has not yet been verified. K’NEXCHANGE does not assign an invented part number where reliable documentation is unavailable.

Related Micro K’NEX Parts

Not every small Micro part that joins to a rod is classified here as a connector. Rod-end clips, interlocking clips, snap caps, spacers, locks and similar parts are covered on their appropriate Micro K’NEX parts pages.

For parts that connect Micro and Classic K’NEX, including the 3-way and 8-way connectors with 6 mm holes, also see K’NEX Adapters, Transition & Dual-System Parts.

This overlap is intentional: a part can be a genuine Micro connector while also providing a transition or dual-system function.
