K’NEX Titanfall – Angel City Escape 69505
Updated through August 2026.
The Angel City Escape Building Set 69505 is part of the K’NEX Titanfall range released in 2014.

The set recreates part of Angel City, the futuristic urban environment from the Titanfall video game. It combines conventional K’NEX construction with specialised architectural parts, scenery, weapons and buildable Titanfall figures.

Angel City
The set builds a section of the battle-damaged urban environment of Angel City.
Buildings, elevated structures, platforms and other scenery provide a setting for the conflict between the IMC and Militia.
The construction is more than a static display. Special features allow the Pilot figures to run along walls and jump between buildings, recreating an important movement feature of the Titanfall game.
Figures
Four buildable Titanfall figures are included:
- 2 Pilots
- 2 Spectres
Both the IMC and Militia factions are represented.
The figures use separate body components and can carry removable weapons and accessories. Loose figure components should therefore not automatically be regarded as separate complete characters when identifying parts from an incomplete set.
Some original packaging also identifies individual characters with additional markings. These markings should not be treated as K’NEX part numbers unless separately confirmed.
Weapons & stationary turrets
Angel City Escape includes several weapon-related components.
A particularly distinctive assembly is the grey tripod-mounted weapon. The weapon itself can be separated from the tripod assembly.
The completed model also incorporates working stationary turrets, allowing the figures and scenery to interact as part of the play features.
Small removable weapons are supplied for the figures as well.
Panels & architectural parts
The set contains several unusual panels and architectural components used to create the ruined appearance of Angel City.
These include different grey structural and floor panels as well as specialised scenery elements.
Some are conventional K’NEX construction parts or adaptations of existing K’NEX systems, while others are closely associated with the Titanfall environment.
For identification purposes, the physical connection system of an individual part is more useful than assuming that every part from a Titanfall set belongs to one particular K’NEX system.
Sandbag scenery
A distinctive tan corner element representing stacked sandbags is used as part of the battlefield scenery.
Although this piece also functions structurally as a panel-like component, its visual purpose is to reproduce defensive scenery from the Titanfall environment.
Mixed K’NEX construction
Angel City Escape is interesting from a parts-collecting perspective because the set combines components of different K’NEX scales and types.
Larger conventional K’NEX components appear alongside smaller construction elements and specialised transition or attachment parts.
This is why a part should not be classified as Classic or Micro simply because it was supplied in set 69505. The underlying connection type and dimensions determine the K’NEX system to which an individual construction part belongs.
Stickers & graphics
Stickers are used to add details to the Angel City buildings and scenery.
They form part of the original appearance of the completed set and are therefore relevant when assessing whether an older set is complete, even though applied stickers are not reusable construction components.
Projectile parts
Some of the weapon assemblies use projectile functionality.
Only the intended K’NEX projectile should be used with these components. Projectiles should not be aimed at the eyes or face.
Building Instructions
The original building instructions are identified as:

The instruction version dates from June 2014.
Part identification
Angel City Escape contains a number of parts that can be difficult to identify when found separately, particularly:
Titanfall figures and figure components · weapons · tripod weapon parts · architectural panels · floor panels · sandbag scenery · stickers and specialised mixed-system components.
Where an official K’NEX part number has not been confirmed, K’NEXCHANGE does not assign an unofficial number to the part.
Internal catalogue or seller identifiers should not be confused with original K’NEX part numbers.
Distinctive Parts & Components
Part numbers are shown where available. For some specialised Titanfall parts, the original K’NEX part number is unknown; in those cases, the number shown is a catalogue identifier used to distinguish the individual part.
